 Lightweight & durable polymer optics for tactical products

The lightweight and durable nature of polymer optics makes them ideal for use in optical-based tactical products. At Apollo, we partner with top makers of precision tactical devices to help them solve their tough optical challenges.

- **Scopes & Sights**  
  Plastic optics provide high performance and durability at much lighter weights than glass optics, making them well suited to portable devices such as firearms and rangefinders, enhancing mobility and comfort in tactical and outdoor scenarios.
- **Tactical flashlights**  
  The flexibility of polymers enables custom optical designs that optimize the light output, beam pattern, and focus of  flashlights. In addition, the durability and impact-resistance of plastic optics helps to ensure continuous operation even in rugged environments.
- **Head mounted displays (HMDs)**  
  The integration of lightweight plastic optics into helmets helps to increase user comfort and reduce fatigue. Anti-reflective coatings can be applied to the optics to minimize glare and reflections.
- **Night vision devices**  
  Polymer optics transmit infrared light efficiently - critical for enhancing visibility in low-light conditions without adding weight.
