Apollo Optical Systems was born from innovation and academic excellence, originating as a spin-off from the University of Rochester's prestigious Institute of Optics in 1989. Founded by leading optical scientists Dr. G. Michael Morris, Dr. Dean Faklis, and Dr. Milton Chang, our company has dedicated over two decades to advancing precision optical technologies. Through strategic partnerships with government programs and commercial collaborations, we've evolved from pioneering research into practical, commercially viable optical solutions.
